Kitty Loves

I was feeling a little yucky this morning (and awful clingy) so I decided to give the kitty some loves! :)

Family Day

Mommy dubbed yesterday "Family Day" because Daddy, Aunt Holly, Grandma, Mommy and I all went to the Zoo! It was lots of fun and we saw lots of fun animals. One of my favorites this time was the big fish tank with the hippos in it. The hippos were taking a siesta but I thought the fish were way cool! This is me and mommy in front of one of those cooling fan that blows a cool mist on you... I kept trying to get them to take me back for more! We also got to see a Sea Lion feeding! What a day!

Softball

This is our softball team. Our team name is Agape (which means love in greek). Most of the people are from church and last friday they won 16-4! Mommy is teaching me how to keep score and JJ and I get to be the bat boys until we are big enough to play too!

Boo Boo

This is a picture of my first "big boy ouchy". I was riding my trike in the grass and somehow I got a big cut on my toe (its hiding under the band-aid). Good thing Aunt Holly was there to help mommy get it cleaned and bandaged.... mommy says I was pretty brave and that she learned an important lesson... listen to the directions when it tells you to always wear shoes!

Happy Mothers Day

Yesterday was Mommy's second mother's day (and she's says it was much better than last year because she got to sleep all night!). Daddy took her out for breakfast and I colored her a picture! Then after church we went to our family's house and I walked around and played with daddy in the yard... mommy says she loves her boys!

Fork

My new favorite way to eat is with a fork. Mommy says I am way better at it than she expected. Sometimes I am silly and try to eat off the wrong end... but at least it gets me to eat my chicken nuggets!

Baby Cone

Last night Aunt Holly wanted to go to Fritz's (she's finally home to stay awhile... yeah!). I decided I would stay awake this time and look how it paid off... I got a free baby cone! It was just my size and it was YUMMY! Mommy says I'm a natural Fritz's fan! I can't wait until baby Alena is big enough to come have a cone too! (Mommy and Daddy took some ice cream home to the new parents though).

Music Man

This morning daddy and I had a concert in our living room. Mommy says she wishes Grandma Mac were still around so she could see me playing on mommy's piano!

Climbing

I've decided that one of my hobbies is climbing. Mommy says sometimes she feels like a jungle gym. This is me climbing and sitting in a chair at Mom's Day Out. In the playground room I climbed all the way on top of a kids picnic table and then back down (all by myself)... I also like to crawl into the lego drawer. Then I decided that it would be fun to climb into my toy drawer at home. Silly Asher!

Faust Park

Yesterday the three amigos (Me, JJ and Gabriel) met up at Faust Park to get some sun... he he. Our mommies lathered us up good, don't worry! We hoped to ride the carousel, but the mommies didn't do their homework and it isn't open on mondays... an adventure for another day I suppose. Anyway, we did have lots of fun swinging and climbing (maybe we should be the 3 monkeys instead of the 3 amigos). We also had a picnic lunch until the geese came charging at us... silly things... what gives them the impression that we would drop scraps? :)

My favorite thing was a tunnel that had holes on each side. Mommy would peek through one of the holes and I would try to get her. Then she would disappear and be peeking through a different hole. I'm pretty smart and would sometimes guess the right hole before she peeked, but she got kinda tricky when she went underneath and would peek behind me.... he he. And you thought orneriness came from daddy?

Baby Alena

My friend Alena is now here! She was born yesterday and boy is she sweet!!! We stopped by to see her last night before daddy went to work today... Her birthday is 5/6/07 (like mine 4/5/06) and she weighs 9'10 oz.

Go Cardinals!

Yesterday we went to the cardinals game... and guess what? They won! They are 4-4 when I'm at the game... can someone fill the team in on this, I must be good luck! Beth and Matt got to come (JJ stayed to play with his Gma) and we got to see Aunt Holly too, she came home from France!

Olsonville

This weekend we took a short trip to "Olsonville" to see daddy's family and to wish Grandma Schroeder a happy 75th birthday. Here are a few pics from the weekend...

Playing with JJ

Today JJ and his mommy stopped by for a few minutes. We played cars and then laughed at the doggie. I even taught him how to tease Yoda (the kitty).

Bouncing

Last Saturday we played outside and Daddy and I did some bouncing! We sat on the trampoline and daddy bounced me (just a little) and I thought it was so fun. I must have been laughing pretty hard because Tag was dying to come up and see what all the fun was about. I'm not too sure she liked it once she got up there, but we did get to snap a quick picture!
