Look at me jump! I finally convinced mommy that I should have a jumperoo (she's a softy!) and boy is it fun. I just jumped and bounced most of the night after daddy put together my new toy. It had the whole family laughing. It says its only good until 25lbs, so mommy says maybe that will keep me from growing so quickly!
Mommy says that besides when my tooth hurts smiling must be my full time job. This is a picture of me smiling at my mommy... but I can't figure out what that silver thing is that she always puts in front of her. She says its hard to get a picture cause I get really focused and stare at it when I see it, then it makes this flash of light and goes click... so much to learn.
Today was a day of rest for Asher. He took a nap with Grandma most of the afternoon, then took a nap in the evening and slept through all of the noise in the house. Daddy put a brand new front door on the house. It looks very nice and adds to the curb appeal (or so mommy says... I think she's been watching too much HGTV with Grandma Mary). See how much I helped... mommy says I was the supervisor!
While we visited Olsonville this weekend the whole family got together for a picture. From right to left: My Daddy, Mommy and Me (in our cardinal red), Uncle Ryan and Aunt Candace (looking very cheery in their yellow), Uncle Ed, Aunt Brooke and Cousins Brandon and Hannah... and of course who could forget Grandma Hope and Grandpa Steve who celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary last weekend! What a cute family I have.
Mommy had a stuffed puppy that I love to stare at in her room, so she took it off the shelf for me to play with. Its got soft ears that I like to chew on and its just the right size for a big hug!
Since I did pretty well at the restaurant, mommy and daddy decided maybe it was time for my big boy high chair at home. It actually fits me pretty well, and it was fun to sit at the table while mommy and daddy ate lunch... I only wish there was some tasty food on my tray. All I got to play with was my teething rings!! (One less day for mommy to make me finish my veggies huh?).
Last night we went out to dinner with my Great Grandma Charity and some out of town family members. Everyone had their hands full eating so I tried out a big boy high chair. I am most comfy when I lean over the edge, and I'm still a little small, but it works to keep me entertained for a few minutes!
While Mommy was at swim practice today I got to play with Aunt Holly. After I got a bath she dressed me up in my overalls and then put my fish hat on me just for fun. Tag also wanted in on the fun! I like it when she comes over to play!
This weekend we went to Mark Twain Lake to spend a few days with Grandma and Grandpa Olson. While we were there I got to go on my first boat ride!! I even had a lifejacket just for little people. It was very fun and I miss my gma and gpa already.
Since it was my 4 month bday and all, mommy and daddy decided I could go on my first trip to see the New Busch Stadium. We cheered as loud as we could and it worked!!!! Pujols hit his 34th home run and the Cardinals won 4-3 (they hadn't been doing so well lately). That makes them 2-0 when Asher was in the crowd. (Its the second time Albert hit one with me there too!!). Maybe they should send me season tickets!
Yesterday was my 4 month birthday! Time flies when you are having fun huh? As of Monday August 7th I am 17 lbs. 9 oz. and 26 inches tall (thats over two feet tall!!!). If I get better eating my cereal I can have fruits and veggies soon!
Who said Binkys are just for your mouth. Now its fun to have more than one at the same time. Mommy says its just a matter of time before I can put it back in my mouth on my own.
I am really liking my car... I can sit it in longer at a time and I've even started to play with all the "accessories". I get really excited when mommy or daddy honks the horn, and I've got my own mobile phone! This is a great place to get exercise (and an opportunity to give mommy and daddy a minute to get lunch ready).
