My kind of week...

Hi everyone! Mommy says she's sorry you haven't had a post recently... last week was kind of busy for us. So, she thought she'd sum it all up for you all... Last monday I went over to J.J.'s house for a wagon ride. It was lots of fun!!

Tuesday we met Gabriel and JJ at the mall. It was a different mall we hadn't been to before! They have a fun play area for kids about our age.



On friday we took daddy to work and Aunt Holly came with us. She left on an airplane to go to France (Mommy says thats far away). She'll be gone for two weeks.. I miss her already!





















Last week mommy put something new in my bathtub.... BUBBLES!!

































This is me this weekend playing in my jammies before bedtime. See, i'm learning about being a pilot already!
Today (tuesday) I ate a good lunch and now I'm just playing with my toys. I decided it would be fun to take ALL of the books off the shelves. I like this new cow one the best because its got some fuzzy cow fur on the front.


















So that's about it... I'm practicing my walking, but I'm not quite ready to let go yet... mommy says its taken so long to type this that now its time for naptime... see you again soon!

My New Trike

Look what I got for my birthday!! Its a new trike. Daddy put it together for me and IT IS FUN! It has three settings.... rock, roll and ride. This is me rocking...

Puppy Party!

Today was party day for this 1 year old. I was so excited I couldn't even wait until after breakfast for those presents... mommy found me trying to open this one and I wasn't even out of my jammies yet! After a fun lunch at Red Robin with my Illinois family we headed to the church for the party. Awhile after we got there mommy stuck this HUGE cake in front of me and everyone watched me while I dug in... first I tried to eat it with the back of a fork, but then my fork disappeared and I was forced to eat with my hands... boy did it taste good! (Someday will they let me eat the whole thing?) Then it was on to presents. Mommy says I am going to be one smart and good looking baby with all the books and clothes I got. Plus daddy has been showing me how to play with all my fun toys this afternoon. Mommy says I should say a big THANK YOU to everyone who came (especially Aunt Candace and Uncle Ryan who came all the way from near Chicago just to see me). What a day....

My First Birthday

Well, its been a fun day so far... its 2:00 and I'm taking a nap (he he) but mommy said she'd let you know about my day so far. I woke up to my favorite breakfast of Cheerios and Bananas. Then we went to the portrait studio to get our pictures taken... mommy says I did pretty well but I kept trying to crawl away. As we were waiting for our pictures we went to a place called Trader Joe's because daddy had heard about it from someone at work. They guy who checked us out gave me a balloon and a really yummy fruit snack treat (a new favorite). With pictures in hand we met a bunch of my friends at the Mills mall for a playdate. After a group picture it was time to head back to the house for lunch with Grandpa Jerry and a nap. Later tonight we are going to mommy's favorite place (Olive Garden) for dinner. She says she's in for years of Chuckie Cheese, so she'll savor this one for now. Isn't being one fun?

One year old!

Can you believe it? I am one year old now! Mommy says its been a great year, better than she could have ever imagined! Thanks to everyone who visits my blog... it takes a village to raise a child right?? Or at least a lot of friends who will pray for one (a child that is). On to new adventures... and a new look for the blog!
