Mommy says the pictures speak for themselves...

Mommy decided that I was getting old enough to start a nighttime routine. So, the first thing that starts our routine is bathtime... but really, its splashtime for Asher. What a waterbaby!
Its 10:50 and this is me smiling for the camera. I've been taking evening naps and then staying up a little later. Mommy doesn't mind too much though cause I slept all the way through the night last night!!!!!!!! She says she's not getting her hopes up quite yet. I say I'm just on World Series schedule (gotta be able to stay up til the game is over!).
Yesterday was my dedication sunday at church. When you get dedicated it means that your parents promise to raise you as Jesus wants us to live, and that the church promises to help to teach you and help you grow up to be a godly person and to love Jesus Christ. Pastor Clint has been mommy's pastor since she was 14 and she is glad he will be there to help be a good example of a servant of Christ just like daddy will.

I went to my first Black Tie Affair this weekend. We got all dressed up and saw our Cousin Jody get married. The wedding was in Duck, North Carolina and it was a very beautiful occasion.
This is a picture of my Grandpa Jerry and I all dressed up. Mommy says I look "tres beau". It was so excited I decided to take a nap... all this formality wears a little boy out!
Saturday we went apple picking at Eckerts in Grafton, IL. It was so much fun! Mommy let me pick my first apple all by myself (ok, almost). I got to ride on a wagon that was pulled by a tractor, and they even had a pumpkin patch back at the country store (don't worry JJ, my mom promised that when you guys get settled we'll go to the pumpkin patch again and pick some out to
decorate!). After we got all our apples mommy and Holly put me in the apple wagon... I was tuckered out. Then we went to a park near the river and had lunch with our friends!! It was a fun day and certainly one for the scrapbook!
