This is my friend Noel... (I call him Uncle Noelie). He is a Christmas baby so we went a few days before to one of our favorites places.. Bandana's restaurant for his bday dinner. Happy Birthday Uncle Noelie!

Reading a Book

Mommy says I've learned how to turn the pages in some of my books so it looks like I am reading them. My favorite book is my Vtech storybook that tells me the stories of the cow that jumps over the moon, twinkle twinkle little star, and hickory dickory dock. It even says "bye-bye" when I close the last page. Don't I look like I am growing up too fast?

Swimming

Sometimes I get to go with mommy to swim practice and splash around... I LOVE SWIMMING! I like to splash and kick and the best thing is playing with the lane ropes... 2024 Olympics here I come!

Look at all this fun!! Daddy was building a tower and I knocked it down... what fun! Then I decided to get into the big lego tub... he he... mommy says I'm semi-mobile now and looking for trouble!

Carols and Candlelight

Yesterday night was our yearly carol and candlelight service at church. Mommy and Grandma sang in the choir and there was a kids choir and mommy helped organize a live nativity with all of the kids. Here is my family... Great Grandma and Grandpa Sherrington, Grandma Mary, Mommy, Daddy, and Aunt Holly!

Teething Blues

Teething is absolutely NO FUN! This is me playing on the floor with my daddy cause it makes me feel better (orajel isn't too bad either). I've got the second tooth coming in on the bottom and mommy says "aww...." really sad-like whenever she gets a look at it cause she knows its all red and it hurts!!

Storytime with Daddy

I love reading stories with my daddy! This one is about the animals in the jungle... can you see the face on this one? Daddy says it looks like ASHER!

8 Months!

As of tuesday I am 8 months old!! Thats 66% of a whole year! I can get up on my knees but then I decide to fall back down, I love to talk, and I have 1.2 teeth (the second one is barely poking through). Mommy says I already tried to unwrap one present under the tree and tried to eat another one! Mommy also says she knows she has posted bathtime pictures before, but she just can't believe how much fun I have in the duckie!

Snow Day

Last night there was a big storm that brought ice and snow! Luckily mommy and daddy were both planning to stay home anyway, so we put up the Christmas tree. Here are mommy and I getting festive and a look at a tree in our front yard. Grandma Mary and Aunt Holly are going to sleepover at our house until they get power back!

Koosh

This is one of my favorite toys... its a koosh ball. I like to get a piece in my mouth and then pull it out. It makes a fun sound, but mommy says sometimes I send a little drool flying and it catches lint really easily. (Thats what you see on my chubby cheeks!). Mommy says being a boy I'll get into much worse than that... sounds fun!

Grandma and Grandpa Olson

Last week mom and I took a trip to Olsonville (Dallas City, IL) to spend time with Grandma and Grandpa Olson. It was fun to see them, I miss them lots!

Lunch with Hannah

Mommy and I went met our friends Hannah, Beth and JJ for lunch today at Red Robin. As we were leaving JJ and I got a balloon! It was fun to play with the string but the balloon was too big to fit in my mouth... he he. Mommy had fun catching up and she promises she'll get better about being on time! After lunch we had to get a few things from Wal-Mart. Mommy noticed my eyelids getting a little heavy and then my head started to get a little heavy. My arm looked like a good resting place for it I guess. Mommy stuck my soft hat underneath to catch my head. I was worn out!

Bathtime or Splashtime?

Mommy decided that I was getting old enough to start a nighttime routine. So, the first thing that starts our routine is bathtime... but really, its splashtime for Asher. What a waterbaby!

We are the champions!

They did it! What a great year to be a brand new Cardinals fan! We celebrated my grandma's birthday and winning the world series all in one night... what fun!

Baby Food Day

Last thursday my friend JJ brought his mom over to make baby food with my mommy. A friend and food... thats a two for one special!

Six months of Baseball...

Mommy decided she'd take a picture of me in the same onesie I wore for my first Cardinals picture. Don't forget, the Cardinals won on my birthday, and every time I've been to the game... I have a good feeling about this World Series.... don't let me down Albert!
