Why I can't keep candles lit!

I usually only light candles during nap time, so I can enjoy them during "mommy time" but occassionaly they are lit when Asher is awake. It doesn't take long before this happens:

He thinks candles are for singing "Happy Birthdaaaaaay You!!"

Paper Boy

We have our own paperboy!

Jesus fixed the hockey table!

... or at least Asher thinks he did! This is one of Asher's favorite things to do! On tuesdays when mommy plays volleyball Asher plays hockey! He waits all week and is known to get into mommy's wallet and get "monies for hockey" (meaning quarters). If its a late game and he doesn't get to go, mommy has to sneak her knee pads out of the house or he will get VERY sad! He is actually quite good and I think he beat Aunt Holly tonight! A few weeks ago the table had an out of order sign on it, and now he thinks Jesus fixed the hockey table... cute! We don't know where he comes up with this stuff, but he makes us laugh!

Magic House

We spent Valentine's morning at the Magic House with some of Daddy's friends from out of town! They have a new 'beanstalk' to climb on! It was getting a little crowded by the time we got to it, so I didn't go up too far.... The water table is one of my favorites! Mommy has learned to pack a dry shirt for me! Rolling ball... a requirement for being a boy!

Wipin' Smoke

Tuesday night at dinner Asher was "wipin smoke" from the veggies! He said "wipe smoke so they get cold!" (Kind of like blowing the steam so they cool down, in toddler language!). He doesn't quite get the difference between smoke and steam :)

Bob the Tomato

My mommy's friend Denise brought me back a very special surprise from her Children's conference! She got to meet Phil Vischer and she got his autograph for me! (He created my very favorite friends, Bob and Larry). For all of you Veggie fans out there, his book "Me, Myself and Bob" is a good read!

Tessa's House

Last weekend we drove to Chicago to visit Tessa (and Uncle Ryan & Aunt Candace!). Tessa was dedicated at their chuch and she is an "itty bitty Christian" now!!

Asher had lots of fun playing at Tessa's house.. she got to bring her car inside!All dressed up for church! :)

Reading books with our family!

We had a great weekend! We even stayed to watch the SuperBowl and ate some YUMMY Chicago style pizza! We hope Tessa gets to come eat some St. Louis style pizza with us soon!
