Allie and Ellie's Party

I shared my 1st birthday party with a very special friend Allie. She turned one just before I did so we had a joint party at church. We had yummy cupcakes, wore birthday tutus and opened lots of fun presents. Here are a few pictures! Birthday Breakfast

Grandma Charity took us all out for pancakes on Ellie's birthday and it was "Scary Face Pancake Day" at IHOP. Asher and Ellie both got free pancakes with a face on them... I thought they were more cute than scary and we let Ellie eat hers like it was a birthday cake (with her fingers and messy.. she didn't get the candy and oreo eyes like brother did, but she loved the cream and strawberry). (eating a lemon... Asher loves them, so we wanted to see how she would do... she didn't wince too much!)

In the days of e-mail, text messages, and voice mail... You still can't beat a handwritten note! (Asher wanted to leave it on Trevor's door so he saw it when he got home!). He wrote all the letters by himself (I helped with spelling and the question mark).
