This year Asher had a few "mini" celebrations for his birthday...
The first one was with Grandma Mary's family on Easter (the day before his birthday).
He had a Cardinals ice cream cake, with baseball cupcakes! :)
On birthday morning the "girls" went with us to get dougnuts at Old Town Doughnuts. He wanted doughnut holes but they heard it was his birthday and gave him a chocolate long john so he could put a candle in it! (and some extra doughnut holes to take home... they were so nice!)
Kay-Kay and Grandpa Jerry helped to get his this really cool "Yadi" catcher's mask.. he loves it!
That evening we went for a free birthday kid's meal at Red Robin!
Then on to the birthday party with two of his bestest friends J.J. and Alena. The kids had a great time bowling (we think Ty, the littlest one beat them all in bowling.. he almost beat some of the parents too!).

Grandma Hope got some really neat Cardinals decorations and it made for a really fun baseball birthday party! Asher wanted a "baseball field" cake... so here is my attempt!
I thought it turned out pretty cute! Thanks to both side of the family, he has a Cardinals shirt to wear every day of the week.

We didn't get a chance to do eggs ahead of time, so we did them before lunch!

He loves to dress up like a pirate and today he merged it with his new whistle and mommy's volleyball. I do love the imagination!
