This may be my favorite penguin ever! It was created by the cutest kindergardener ever! :) (picture to come... this is why I don't blog so much anymore!)

Halloween 2011

We had a very fun Halloween this year! Asher dressed up at Darth Vader (I know, a shocker!!). He is the one on the left. His friend Gael was a sandtrooper and his good buddy Ezra was also Darth Vader. We also saw a Princess Leia and Anakin Skywalker at church too!

Days of Summer

Its nearing the end of the 2011 Cardinals baseball season and we got in two games over labor day weekend! Ellie says "GO Cards" and we are trying to get her to yell "CHARGE". We hope its not the last time we see Albert Pujols in a Cardinals uniform!

Piggy.... Hungry!

Ellie has a pink piggy bank that she likes to feed..... She also knows Grandma Mary has change in her purse! All by herself she'll grab her piggy from her room (its getting pretty heavy) and take grandma her purse and say Piggy, hungry! Then she and Grandma feed the piggy! :)

Summer Camp

Last week was Asher's first time at summer camp. From Sunday - Thursday he was at Cuiver River State Park with friends and staff from church. Most of the pictures are from the pool, because that is where I spent most of the week as the camp lifeguard.

Ellie and Daddy came to visit a few times, it was good to see them. Ellie always makes us feel at home with her sweet smile.

 Asher had a great week with his buddy J.J. and new friends Zach and Gael. It was good just to be a boy for ahwile! :) (The shampoo was not used during the duration at camp :).

Their cabin made a raft with noodles, trash bags and tape. All the boys were able to float (thanks to the engineers in his cabin!).

It was a very memorable week and we survived 3 days of 100+ temperatures!

Swimming and Stormtroopers!

 

This summer we've been busy with swim team! Asher swims the 25 yard freestyle and 25 yard backstroke at the meets. He's been doing very well and has a lot of first and second place ribbons!

Last week he finally got the stormtrooper costume he's been waiting very patiently for since his birthday. The first one we ordered was too small and we ended up getting him the "deluxe" costume. I didn't think I'd ever let my kids out in public in a costume, but he loves it and get alot fo compliments!! :)
