Wasn't it a beautiful St. Patrick's day this year?? As we did last year we ventured down to Forest Park for the Hiberian parade with our neighbors across the street. Here's Katie (aka Kay-Kay) getting Asher to laugh in the wagon...
We went down early to get good parking so we ventured into the zoo to see the elephants! Asher wanted to take a pictures of the hippos and fishies (all you could see in the hippo picture was their rear ends, so I didn't post that one!).
We found a decent viewing spot on a corner street and hung out in the shade until the parade started....

Claire stayed with us until we saw her family and she joined them to walk in the parade. Kay-Kay is on the far left of the picture, the girl's older brother John in the black shirt, the two girls and their Dad (holding Rudy by the leash).
After we watched a little of the parade we stopped by Turtle Park for a bit before beating the crowd home. We had two very tired toddlers on the ride home!!!
